Tuscaloosa Radio Station Flips to Non-Stop Christmas Music
The sounds of the holiday season are ringing out again in West Alabama on MeTv 97.5. The radio station flipped from its regular rotation of timeless, memorable music to non-stop Christmas music last Friday, October 28th.
The annual feature, sponsored by Tuscaloosa's Taco Casa restaurants, provides listeners with their favorite Christmas hits from various genres including the iconic “Silent Night” by The Temptations, “Home for the Holidays” by Perry Como, “Winter Wonderland” by Air Supply, “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” by Amy Grant and so many others.
"It’s important, now more than ever, to have the holiday spirit because of the state of our country,” said DC Daniel, Director of Content for Townsquare Media Tuscaloosa. “Christmas music brings joy to everyone’s life.”
No matter the temperature in Alabama, St. Nick on 97.5 FM will surely provide the cheer of the holidays for you and your family through December 25th. If you have a Christmas song that you would like St. Nick to add to an already extensive playlist, let them know by tapping their free app.
