
Tuscaloosa Man Dies in Fiery Greene County Crash Sunday
A Tuscaloosa man died Sunday in a fiery two-vehicle crash in Greene County, Alabama State Troopers confirmed on Tuesday.
Corporal Reginal King, a spokesperson for the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency in West Alabama, told local media that the crash occurred Sunday just outside of Eutaw at around 3:30 a.m.
King said Lorenzo Cherry, a 34-year-old Tuscaloosa man, was killed when his 2020 Honda Accord struck the rear end of a 2024 Ford F-350 on Interstate 20/59.

State Troopers said after the initial impact, both vehicles caught fire, and Cherry was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
The other driver, a 59-year-old from Carrolton, Alabama, was injured and transported to Northport Medical Center for treatment.
No other details about the crash were available on Tuesday afternoon.
