City of Tuscaloosa Reschedules ‘Love Our Lakes’ Day Due to Inclement Weather
Tuscaloosa's annual 'Love Our Lakes Day' has been rescheduled due to the threat of showers and thunderstorms.
The event will now be hosted at the Rock Quarry Boat Landing at Lake Tuscaloosa from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 17.
The event is sponsored by Russell Marine and encourages residents to volunteer in removing litter and other debris from the lake.
Breakfast and lunch are provided for volunteers; the first 150 to arrive also receive a free T-shirt.
