A Special Community Forum Today At Noon on Catfish 100.1
Residents of Tuscaloosa, Northport and Tuscaloosa County will have a rare opportunity to hear from the political leadership from each jurisdiction during an on-air community forum today. In a first of its kind broadcast, the "Noon Show" on Townsquare Media Tuscaloosa's Catfish 100.1 will bring Tuscaloosa mayor Walt Maddox, Northport Mayor Dale Phillips and Tuscaloosa County Probate Judge and County Commission Chair Rob Robertson together to discuss community issues.
"Noon Show" cohost Johnnie Aycock calls the 12 noon until 2:00pm program and opportunity to bring the leadership of all three jurisdictions together to inform their constituents about what is happening in their communities and what the future looks like. "We've outlined several issues we want to discuss with them and have a forum that shows and encourages collaboration, working together to make sure that our communities continue to strive toward excellence, toward liveability, and economic vitality," Aycock described the programs intent.
Topics on the special program will include infrastructure, roads and highways, mental health, public safety, economic development and other key, relevant issues.
