Church in Tuscaloosa, Alabama Struck by Dozens of Bullets, Investigation Underway
Police in Tuscaloosa are investigating after members of a church on 17th Street discovered the building had been shot more than a dozen times earlier this month.
In a Monday afternoon post to Facebook, a TPD spokesperson said the pastor of Road to Glory Church at 2905 17th Street discovered the damage on Sunday, July 11th.
TPD said there were more than a dozen bullet holes in the side of the building, causing exterior and interior damage to the church.
The pastor told investigators the bullet holes were not there on Sunday, July 4th, and the shooting must have taken place in the week between those two Sundays.
