The Chamber of Commerce of West Alabama is once again incentivizing Tuscaloosa to shop local with a weeklong scavenger hunt with a huge grand prize on the line.

All week long, from Monday through Friday, December 1st, the Chamber will be hiding bright pink flamingos at local businesses in west Alabama and posting photos of their festive friends for area sleuths to locate.

The first person to figure out where a flamingo is hanging out that day, post a photo of it, and prove they spent $10 supporting the local business that houses the bird will earn five entries for a chance to win a Grand Prize package the Chamber says is now worth more than $1,000.

The Chamber said entering the contest is easy:

1. Find a flamingo
2. Post flamingo on social media (tag the Chamber + the business where you found it)
3. Spend at least $10 at the business
4. Email photo of receipt to tanya@westalabamachamber.com

With several birds being placed throughout town daily, there are many chances to find a flamingo first and earn five entries in the drawing this week.
