
Celebrate Spring at Tuscaloosa’s First Ever Strawberry Fest Later this Month
The city of Tuscaloosa is celebrating spring harvests later this month with its first-ever Strawberry Fest, a weekday farmers' market focused on the beloved fruit and all the treats you can make with it.
In a Wednesday announcement, the City of Tuscaloosa it will host the inaugural Strawberry Fest on Tuesday, April 21st, from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Tuscaloosa River Market.

"This special event, similar to the weekly Saturday market, will celebrate strawberry season and our strawberry farmers' harvest!" the city wrote in a press release. "Other vendors will be present with a variety of strawberry-themed baked and homemade goods."
They said there will be free face painting for children and a mobile petting zoo on scene, as well as live music from Stephanie Woodruff and Charles Erwin Wilson during the festival.
