
NWS Issues Severe Thunderstorm Watch for Southwest Alabama
It's another day of potentially strong storms with damaging winds, and the National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of central Alabama, including the southern parts of our coverage area.
The watch covers eight counties: Autauga, Dallas, Greene, Hale, Lowndes, Marengo, Perry, and Sumter.

Cities included in the watch area are Demopolis, Eutaw, Fort Deposit, Greensboro, Linden, Livingston, Lowndesboro, Marion, Moundville, Prattville, Selma, Uniontown, and York.
