Power Outages

Storms across the state of Alabama Thursday have left thousands of residents without electricity.

Thunderstorms expected today have caused hundreds of power outages across West Alabama.

It's not even football season yet, but there's some action reported at BDS already.

According to the Alabama Power outage map, there are close to 1,000 customers without power as of 8 a.m. Wednesday morning.

Storms came through West Alabama early Tuesday morning and caused damage in Northport, leaving several hundred without power.

Strong winds and heavy rains from Hurricane Ida are taking a toll on residences and businesses Monday.

Tuscaloosa County is currently experiencing about 3,500 power outages, according to a report made by Alabama Power.
