Students, staff, alumni and more at Tuscaloosa County's Northside High School are mourning the unexpected death of a beloved teacher there Thursday.

The Haleyville Lions upset Northside Rams on the road.

The Northside Rams (1-0) dominated the Hale County Wildcats (0-1) 35-0 on the road to claim their first win of the season.

Both seniors were set to graduate this week, then join the military.

Both students were graduating seniors.

Hamilton was completely smothered by Northside on Friday evening as the Rams kept their home win streak alive, comfortably, by a score of 36-0.

It wasn't pretty, but Northside football overcame numerous mistakes and penalties to defeat region rival Haleyville 12-6 on Friday night.
