A video published on YouTube Monday shows a scrap metal truck overturning on Jack Warner Parkway, scattering its load over the street and blocking traffic for hours.

The incident occurred just after 6 a.m. on May 10. Townsquare Media Tuscaloosa Traffic Captain Ray Allen initially reported the event over the air and on social media.

The truck, depicted about halfway through the one-minute video, is seen entering Jack Warner Parkway from McFarland Boulevard. The driver did not slow down enough to safely make the turn, causing the cargo container to capsize.
