Sandra Stillwell Hunter, of Northport, Alabama, born April 17, 1965, passed away at home Saturday, May 6, 2023. She was 58.

Visitation will be held at Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, from 6:00-8:00 P.M. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. at Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North. Bro. Tim Baumgarten will be officiating the service with burial to follow at Bethel Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

Sandra was a proud graduate of TCHS, class of 1983. She spent a career working for the United States Postal Service as a rural letter carrier. She made countless friends with the Alabama and National Rural Letter Carrier Associations. She was a member of Northport First Free Will Baptist Church and a lifelong fan of the Crimson Tide. She was also an active Facebook user with many Facebook friends. She was a loving and forgiving wife, mother, friend, and Grammy. Her smile, sarcasm, and excellent sense of humor will be remembered by all those she encountered.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, William M. Stillwell and Doris J. McBrayer. She is survived by her husband, Joey; her brother, David (Amanda); her daughter, Ashley; her son, Ross (Kassie); her son, Jake (Danielle); her three grandchildren, Kinleigh, Josie, and Hawkins; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Donald Boggs, Ronald Boggs, Steve Wheat, Mike Wheat, Joel Wicken, Joseph Stillwell, Kevin McCauley, and Charles Wise. Honorary pallbearers are the members of the Northport Free Will Baptist Church, TCHS Class of 1983, Northport Post Office, ALRLCA, NRLCA, and the PANCAN survivors group.
