State police are investigating an officer-involved shooting in Walker County, Alabama Monday.

Krimson Culverson, the chief of police in Cordova, Alabama, shared a press release Monday morning saying that although the shooting took place in their city, no Cordova Police officers were involved.

Culverson said the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency was contacted and will conduct an investigation into the shooting.
