Volunteer Fire House in Pickens County Destroyed in Fire Monday Night
An investigation is underway after a fire destroyed the Dancy-Cochran-Memphis Fire House, a volunteer fire department, in Pickens County Monday night.

According to Pickens County EMA director LaKeitha Bell, the building, along with all of its equipment and a fire apparatus, was destroyed and is being considered a complete loss.
The fire house was located in the 1300 block of Alabama Highway 14 in the Memphis community near Aliceville.
