Party City Opens First Tuscaloosa, Alabama Store in Midtown Village
Party City, the national party supply chain with over 800 stores across the United States, is set to open its first Tuscaloosa store in Midtown Village.
The store is located on the outside edge of the shopping complex, just behind the Barnes & Noble in the former Nike Store location.
This new location will feature Party City's self-described "next-generation" retail format, which consists of a more open layout with the centerpiece highlighting the store's signature balloon offerings - which includes everything from balloon arches and garlands to unique confetti balloons and giant character-shaped balloons.

The goal of this redesign is to increase shopping efficiency for its customers. Shoppers can browse through a regularly rotating collection of party favors for any sort of celebration, from Super Bowl party decorations to Valentine's Day celebrations.
A Grand Opening party is scheduled for Saturday, January 29 at Midtown Village starting at 10 a.m. The first 250 customers inside the store will receive a complimentary $10 gift card, valid through February 12.
And the party continues the next Saturday, February 5 with an in-store "Tailgate Party" scheduled from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Guests will be able to shop a wide variety of University of Alabama and Crimson Tide merchandise, including Bama-themed balloons. The first 50 attendees will similarly receive a $10 gift card, valid through February 19.
