During his freshman year, Reeves started in 39 games and made an appearance in 48 games total. He tied the lead in runs and stolen bases as well as second in home runs. The following season, Reeves made 15 starts out of 17 games before the season was cut short due to Covid-19. Alabama was 16-1 going into conference play. Reeves totaled 14 hits including a home run.

Unfortunately, Reeves was injured the majority of his junior year. He suffered a hand injury while sliding which later required surgery. Reeves missed 12 games following his recovery. With only 83 at-bats this season, Reeves posted a .229 average with four doubles and two home runs. He finished with 27 game appearances and 22 starts.

Due to new SEC policies, Reeves has the option for immediate eligibility should he transfer to another school in conference. Under the NCAA, he is already eligible for immediate play if he goes outside of the SEC.
