Second Body Found in North Tuscaloosa County, VCU Investigation Continues
Police have discovered a second body in north Tuscaloosa County in an ongoing investigation that indicates foul play.

There, Captain Jack Kennedy said a second body has been located not far from the abandoned home where the first one was found.
He also confirmed the man found on Thursday is, Erik Bradley Thomas, the 37-year-old man who was called a person of interest in the earlier investigation. Thomas had been reported missing and was found on Thursday after a search involving his family and county sheriff's deputies.
Kennedy said the investigation into the first death has not stopped since it began, and with the discovery of a second body, VCU agents will continue to work this case nearly 24 hours a day.
Foul play appears to have been a factor in the deaths, and Kennedy said their investigation is ongoing.
Anyone with information about the case should contact the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff’s Office at 205-752-0616 or the VCU at 205-464-8690.
