The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued two Significant Weather Advisories for portions of Tuscaloosa and Pickens Counties. These advisories are set to expire at 1 p.m. and 1:15 p.m., respectively, Friday.

The text of the two advisories are as follows:

...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR EASTERN TUSCALOOSA COUNTY UNTIL 
100 PM CDT... 
 
At 1217 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near 
Deerlick Creek Campgrounds, or 7 miles northeast of Holt, moving 
southeast at 15 mph. 
Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with this storm. 
This strong thunderstorm will be near... 
Brookwood and Lake Wildwood around 1245 PM CDT. 
Coaling around 1255 PM CDT. 
Vance, Mercedes Benz Of Alabama, Abernant and North Bibb around 
100 PM CDT. 
Other locations impacted by this storm include Lake Tuscaloosa, 
Fleetwood, Bucksville, East Brookwood, Camp Horne B.S.A., Sexton 
Bend, Peterson, Lake Harris, Lake Nicol and Caffee Junction.

115 PM CDT... 
 
At 1209 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near 
Reform, moving southeast at 15 mph. 
Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with this storm. 
This strong thunderstorm will be near... 
Gordo around 1225 PM CDT. 
Other locations impacted by this storm include Owens, Kirk, Pioneer 
and North Pickens Airport.
