NWS Issues Severe Thunderstorm Watch in 30 Alabama Counties, Including Tuscaloosa
The National Weather Service is warning about half of Alabama to prepare for the possibility of severe thunderstorms Thursday night into Friday morning.
The NWS issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch at 5 p.m. Thursday, effective until 11 p.m., which includes 30 counties.

Because the threat includes the overnight hours, those affected by the Watch should make plans to stay informed and be prepared for the chance of severe storms.
