Northport Bojangles to Reopen Next Week, Donate to Jag Sports
A Bojangles restaurant that closed in Northport last year will reopen under new ownership next week and donate to a local high school athletics program, brand representatives announced Wednesday.
The beloved chicken and biscuits drive-thru joint at 3921 McFarland Boulevard closed in August but has since been acquired by Cedartown Foods, LLC., who operate 40 Bojangles locations in Alabama, Georgia and Tennessee.

The new owners are set to re-open the restaurant next week and will celebrate with a ribbon-cutting and a check presentation donation to the Northridge High School Athletic Department the day before.
Restaurant representatives are set to give a $2,500 donation to the Jaguars and cut the ribbon at 3 p.m. next Tuesday, February 18th.
Cedartown said in a media advisory the gift will kick off "an ongoing partnership with the school’s sports programs, including baseball, softball, wrestling and more."
The Northport Bojangles will reopen to the public the next day, at 5 a.m. on Wednesday, February 19th.
"The restaurant will be open seven days a week, Monday through Saturday from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.," according to the media release.
