
No Injuries or Spills When Train Derails in Greene County Thursday
Railroad officials have launched an investigation after a train derailed in Greene County Thursday and said fortunately, no one was hurt and nothing dangerous was spilled when it happened.
A spokesperson for the Alabama & Gulf Coast Railway said the train derailed 18 empty gondola railcars on Thursday.

"There were no injuries, and no hazmat was involved. An investigation into the incident is still underway," a spokesperson for AGR said.
