No Serious Injuries or Arrests After Friday Brawl at Tuscaloosa County’s Hillcrest High School
No one was seriously hurt during a brawl involving several students at Tuscaloosa County's Hillcrest High School that was videoed and shared on social media on Friday morning.
A minute-long clip shared across the community showed a small group taking a fight to the ground as they were surrounded by a huge throng of students. About 30 seconds in, a Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Deputy arrives to try to break up the altercation.

Because the video features juveniles, we will not embed or share it here.
A spokesperson for the sheriff's office spoke to the Thread later Friday morning and said no one involved in the scuffle was injured badly enough to require hospitalization. He said the fighting primarily involved four students, and Hillcrest High School is looking to handle the matter internally - no arrests were made in the immediate aftermath of the brawl.
Terri Brewer, a spokeswoman for the county school system, said they were aware of the fight and would handle any disciplinary action in accordance with the Hillcrest High code of conduct.
