The Olive Parker is named after the eight-year-old daughter of Parker Towing President and CEO Tim Parker and his wide Megan. Built in 2021 by C&C Marine in Belle Chase, LA, the 147.5-by-34-foot vessel operates on the Black Warrior, Tombigbee and Tennessee rivers. It transports export coal, steel and grain products. The Olive Parker is the first vessel built for Parker Towing Company C&C Marine and Repair. The vessel has accommodations offer a total of 10 beds

The M/V Callaway Parker is the namesake of six-year-old Callaway "Callie" Parker, Tim and Megan Parker's youngest daughter. The 86-by-30-foot vessel was launched earlier this year by Verret Shipyard in Plaquemine, LA. It is assigned to the Liquid Division and will operate primarily on the Black Warrior and Tombigbee Rivers hauling Hunt Refining products. The new boat has air-conditioned and heated accommodation for a crew of seven in four staterooms. The Callaway Parker has been described by its builder as “tough, reliable and handles like a pro.”

Parker Towing Company is based on the north bank of the Black Warrior River just across the waterway from downtown Tuscaloosa. It is recognized as one of the largest and best inland waterway towing companies in the southeastern U.S.

The company is family-owned and provides logistics and transportation services for bulk commodities such as steel, aggregates, coal, forest products, grain, cement, asphalt and petroleum products, according to a press release announcing the two christening of the two new vessels.
