New CrossFit 5X Gym Coming to Northport in Early 2021
A new CrossFit 5X gym and community center is coming to Northport in the new year.
Northport District 5 Councilman Jeff Hogg made the announcement online Monday morning, saying the CrossFit 5x will be located in Wildcat Corner, off of Rose Boulevard on Wildcat Drive. Hogg is the chair of the city's retail development committee and has made it a point to recruit as many new businesses as he can to come to the Northport area.
Hogg highlighted in this post that in addition to offering fitness classes for all ages, the CrossFit will include heated yoga and after school programs for kids as well as a summer camp program coming in summer 2021, barring COVID restrictions, to help get kids energized about staying healthy.
"If 2020 has taught us anything, it's that our health should be a priority," a Facebook post from CrossFit 5X read, celebrating the new location.
