Motorcyclist Struck, Badly Hurt by SUV on Tuscaloosa’s 15th Street, Eastbound Lanes Closed
One of the busiest roads in Tuscaloosa is closed after a motorcyclist was badly injured in a Friday afternoon collision.
Stephanie Taylor, a spokesperson for the Tuscaloosa Police Department, said a major accident occurred at the intersection of 15th Street and 2nd Avenue, near Guthries and the new bridge over the railroad tracks to UA's campus.

Taylor told the Thread a SUV collided with a motorcycle in that area, and the motorcyclist suffered serious injuries.
All eastbound lanes of 15th Street are currently closed, and westbound traffic is clogged.
Motorists should avoid the area if possible.
