Search Underway for Man Who Fled Tuscaloosa County Sheriff’s Deputies Monday

Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's deputies are scouring an area around Highway 171 looking for a man who allegedly fled from a warrant check Friday.

According to a Facebook post from TCSO, Reese Chavez ran from deputies in rural northern Tuscaloosa County earlier Friday.

Deputies are now searching around Highway 171, Atlanta Lane, Bone Camp Road, and Sullivan Road for Chavez.

Police describe Chavez as 5 foot, 8 inches tall, weighing 180 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

He was seen Friday wearing red gym shorts, a black shirt and glasses.
