Highly Anticipated Mo’Bay Beignet Co. Set to Open Later This Week

One company's plan to make Tuscaloosa sweeter will soon be a reality after the grand opening of the city's first Mo'Bay Beignet Co. later this week.

The company shared a flyer advertising the event on their Facebook page, which promises a 15-hour day celebration beginning this Friday, July 1st, at 7 a.m. and ending at 10 p.m.

As previously reported by the Tuscaloosa Thread, the Mobile-based beignet company first announced the plans of opening the sweets and coffee shop in Tuscaloosa in July 2021.

The new business is opening in Temerson Square at 401 23rd Avenue, next door to the Avenue Pub, but patrons planning to pair a bacon burger with a beignet from next door will have to act fast before the Avenue Pub relocates to a bigger space down later this summer.
