The newspaper said in a Saturday night Facebook post that 14-year-old Hailey Beckham, who has been missing since Thursday, was recovered in Spotsylvania, Virginia.

Citing Moundville Police Chief Toby Banks, the Times said a suspect was then taken into custody in Fredericksburg, Virginia, and they are expected to face multiple criminal charges in relation to the girl's disappearance.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency issued an Emergency Missing Child Alert for Beckham Friday night, and Banks credited the alert for helping bring quick resolution to the case.
