Midtown Village Cookie Shop Opens Soon, Tyner Teases Chuy’s Site News
The wait is almost over for a new-to-market cookie shop opening soon in Tuscaloosa's Midtown Village.
As the Thread exclusively reported earlier this summer, Utah's gourmet Chip Cookie Co. is hard at work to open their first-ever Alabama store here in the Druid City.
Tuscaloosa City Council president Kip Tyner represents the area of the city that houses Midtown Village and said earlier this week that the new desserts delicatessen will open before the end of the month.
Tyner also teased a pending announcement of a new restaurant coming to the long-vacant former home of Chuy's Tex-Mex off McFarland Boulevard in front of the Shoppes at Legacy Park.
Chip bakeries offer a regularly rotating selection of gourmet cookies for pickup and local delivery.
