Michael Wayne Crowder (September 18th, 1960

With great sadness we announce the unexpected death of Michael "Mike" Wayne Crowder, age 61, of Holt, Alabama, on Feb. 1, 2022 at DCH of Tuscaloosa.

Mike was a super fan of Alabama football, with his weekend plans depending entirely on what time Alabama played. He had a life long passion for Jeep Wranglers that was rivaled only by his obsession with Western themed movies and TV shows.

He was also connected to his community as a member of Hopewell Baptist Church and developed lasting connections playing in local softball and bowling leagues.

A celebration of his life will be held at 2 PM , Tuesday, February 8th, at Magnolia Chapel South with Rev. Tommy Easterwood officiating. Entombment will follow at Magnolia Mausoleum.

He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Lenora Crowder, sons, Charles Lee Hedrick Jr and Andrew Mac Hedrick, his sister Cheryl Ann Elledge. He was preceded in passing by his parents, Evelyn Lorene Howton and Andrew Jackson Crowder, his brother, Robert Andrew Crowder, and his sister Kitty Mayne.

Honorary pallbearers will be, Andrew Hedrick, Cade Pritchett, Lee Hedrick, Scotty Bosch, Tommy Bosch, and Tyler Gilliam.

In memory of his love of Alabama football, Alabama attire is welcome and encouraged.
