Tuscaloosa Bar to Benefit Turning Point During Women’s History Month
Session Cocktails, a downtown Tuscaloosa bar specializing in pre-Prohibition and modern classic cocktails, will be partnering with Manderson Women in Business for their monthly "Cocktail for a Cause" campaign.
Through different community engagement, professional development and social events, Manderson Women in Business seeks to create a network of women business leaders and encourage empowerment, according to a press release from MC Social.
The organization is part of the University of Alabama's Manderson Graduate School of Business, which serves all female students within the business graduate school.

During March, Women's History Month, Manderson Women in Business will donate the proceeds raised from Session's "Cocktail for a Cause" sales to Turning Point, an Alabama-based organization that extends care to domestic violence and sexual assault survivors.
Turning Point has been operating as a shelter for victims of domestic abuse since 1979. In 1992, they expanded their services to aid sexual assault victims. All services the organization offers, including an emergency shelter, a 24-hour crisis line, counseling, support groups, legal advocacy and more are free for victims and affected family members.
Session's March cocktail, the Cucumber Collins, is made with Tito's handmade vodka, soda water, and salted cucumber cordial.
To try the Cucumber Collins before it leaves the menu at the end of the month, swing by Session at 2221 University Boulevard, which opens at 4 p.m. every day but Sunday.
