Schools in Tuscaloosa and in the broader Tuscaloosa County area have cancelled after-school activities on Wednesday as the week's second round of severe weather rolls in.

The National Weather Service warns that the storms bring the threat of damaging 60-mile-per-hour wind gusts, hail, and brief, isolated tornadoes.

No other systems in West Alabama have announced similar decisions yet, but we'll keep a real-time list below as more come in from our coverage area.
