Manhunt Underway for Dangerous Suspects After Walker County Murder
Two suspects remain at large after a Thursday morning shooting in Walker County that left one person dead.
According to a Facebook post from the agency, the WCSO received a report of a shooting on Hill Drive in Quinton early Thursday morning.
The post states the investigation continues and due to those circumstances, limited information is being released, but confirmed warrants for two suspects have been issued, including a juvenile suspect who faces charges in the case.
The adult suspect, 36-year-old Corey Ryan Mahaffey of Dora, Alabama is wanted for capital murder during a robbery, capital murder aiding & abetting and two counts of first-degree assault.
The release does not list the charges the juvenile suspect is expected to face.
Both suspects are considered armed and dangerous and the WCSO asks citizens to refrain from approaching them.
