Sellers said a man there had been shot, was transported to an area hospital for treatment and is listed in critical condition.

The Tuscaloosa Police Department and the VCU are on the scene investigating, and the gas station is closed off with police tape. A large number of evidence markers typically used to denote the location of shell casings or blood were visible from the street.
