BREAKING: Major Crash Closes Interstate in Greene County, Casualties Possible

A major crash involving several vehicles and a charter bus has closed the southbound lanes of Interstate 20/59 in Greene County Thursday afternoon.

Reginal King, a spokesperson for the Alabama State Troopers, told local media that the multi-vehicle crash took place around 2:40 p.m. Thursday.

King said all southbound lanes of the interstate are blocked at near Mile Marker 48 near Knoxville, Alabama.

Video shot and shared by a reporter for ABC 33/40 shows at least one vehicle overturned and one large bus in the median of the interstate.
