Mac Jones keeps getting better and the New England Patriots keep winning.

Jones went 23-of-32 for a career-high 310 yards, two touchdowns and zero interceptions as the Patriots cruised to a 36-13 victory over the Tennessee Titans to win their sixth consecutive game. His 123.2 passer rating was the highest in the NFL on Sunday.

During the Patriots six game winning streak, Jones ranks second in the NFL passing yards (1,379), yards per attempt (8.1), third in passer rating (106.5) and fourth in touchdowns (9) and completion percentage (69.4).

“Mac’s playing very well," said Matthew Judon. "Mac’s confidence in himself is growing. He already had a lot of confidence, I think, but his confidence is growing in himself. That’s the biggest thing. We just have to be there to rough him up a little bit, but also pull him along. If he’s not playing well, let him know defense has his back. Then, when he’s playing well, let him know the defense still has his back and 'we’re going to get you the ball. We’re going to get you the ball right back. You’re playing amazing…He’s balling.”

Jones has been labeled as a dink and dunk quarterback early in his career, but against Tennessee he averaged 9.7 yards per attempt and completed seven passes that gained at least 20 yards. In fact, Jones leads the NFL in the month of November in yards per attempt with 8.6. The former Alabama quarterback spoke after the game about the improved success the Patriots have seen in their vertical passing game.

“I think the first thing is the offensive line playing really well,” Jones said. “We feel confident in doing that. I don’t think I got hit today but maybe one time, and that was a talented defensive front, so props to them just to allow us to open it up a little bit. But there’s more opportunities to be made. It starts with the front. And the guys getting open, they’ve been doing a good job with that all year, and it’s just getting the ball in stride and throwing it to the right guy. We just got to continue to improve on that.”

Through 12 games this season, Jones has completed 70.3% of his passes for 2,850 yards to go with 16 touchdowns. No rookie quarterback has had a better completion percentage than Jones at this point in NFL history and his 2,850 passing yards are the fourth-most for a rookie in NFL history to this point.

The Patriots will be on the road next Monday, Dec. 6 to face the Buffalo Bills in a battle for first place in the AFC East.
