Luther Edward Quarles (May 5th, 1937 – April 29th, 2025)

Luther Edward Quarles, age 87 of Fosters, passed away on April 29, 2025, at Moundville Health and Rehab.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at 10:00 am at Grants Creek Cemetery with Rev. Don Springer officiating and Magnolia Chapel South directing.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Irma G. Quarles, daughter; Regina Carol Quarles, parents; Rufus C. and Josephine Quarles, sisters; Rebecca O'Neal, Mary Ellen Tubbs Martin, brothers; R.C., William, James and Robert.

Survivors include his sister-in-law, Charlotte Quarles, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be his nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Grants Creek Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
