Linda Horne Barnette (June 26th, 1949 – November 26th, 2021)

Linda Horne Barnette, age 72 of Greensboro, Alabama passed away at her home on November 26, 2021.

Graveside services were held Tuesday, November 30, 2021, 2:00 p.m. at Oakwood Cemetery with Brother Steve Vernon officiating and being directed by Magnolia Chapel South.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Tidmore Wigger, her father Shirley Bell Horne and her sister Shirley Ann Harrell (Dan).

Linda is survived by husband of almost 53 years, Emory Barnette, a daughter Kenya B. Clary of Greensboro, two grandchildren, Jenna Kynard and Blake Kynard both of Greensboro and a great granddaughter, Aliyah Kynard.

Pallbearers were Stephen Barnette, Jr., Chris Barnette, Kevin Barnette, and Chad Barnette.

Honorary pallbearers were The Hale County Riding Club, doctors and staff of Manderson Cancer Center and Hospice of West Alabama.
