Laurene Glover (March 19th, 1938 – July 20th, 2022)

Laurene Glover, age 84, of Tuscaloosa, died July 20, 2022, at her daughter's residence.

Services will be held on Monday, August 1, 2022 at 12:00 noon at Grants Creek Baptist Church with Magnolia Chapel South directing. Burial will follow at Sylvan Cemetery in Foster's. Visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to the service.

She was proceeded in death by her parents Vera and Mann Lawrence, her husband Chuck Glover and her son Jeff Glover.

Survivors include daughter Kim Micheale Hodo (Ronald), daughter Ami Glover Hallman (Billy), Grandchildren Rhen Glover (Haley), Rhett Glover (Bridgett), Austin Hallman (Alison), Taylor Hallman, Hunter Hallman and Brandi Hodo. Great Grandchildren, Gabriel Glover, Tristan Glover and Charlee Glover. Brother-in-law Mike Glover (Deana).

She was born in Berry, AL, grew up in Holt and attended Holt High School. She was youngest of nine children. She loved the LORD and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She graduated from Holt High School and was employed by BellSouth where she retired after 31 years of service. She loved her family dearly! She enjoyed playing all sorts of games and was very competitive. She loved Alabama Football and Softball.

Pallbearers will be Rhen Glover, Rhett Glover, Austin Hallman, Hunter Hallman, Dustin Glover and Randy Glover

Honorary Pallbearers will be nurses and staff of West Alabama Hospice, Gracie Oswalt, Caring Days, Home Instead, Pam Killian, Grants Creek Sunday School Ladies, Warrior Pest Control, Tuscaloosa Police Department and Tuscaloosa Fire & Rescue.
