Jimmy C. Bunn, Sr. (May 8th, 1938 – October 2nd, 2023)

Jimmy C. Bunn, age 85 of Greensboro, passed away October 2, 2023 at DCH Regional Medical Center.

Jimmy is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 59 years, Elizabeth Bunn and his parents Stacey and Cora Bunn.

Jimmy is survived by his two sons, Jimmy Bunn, Jr. (LaJuan) of Northport, William Bunn (Cherie) of Newbern, daughters; Lisa Harper (Jerry) of Greensboro, Belinda Simmons (Wayne) of Boligee, and Susan Weatherly (Tim) of Moundville, along with 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 12:00 noon at Antioch Church, 1150 County Road 3 Greensboro, Alabama on Thursday, October 5, 2023. Visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at the church cemetery with Magnolia Chapel South directing.

Pallbearers will be Joey Christian, Matthew Christian, Levi Bunn, Zach Mott, Tim Weatherly, Wayne Simmons, Jerry Harper, and Tim Fitzgerald.

Honorary pallbearers are former employees of Barnette Transportation, Fonda Sherrill, Donna Shirley, Gary Ingram Grading and Paving, Rosie and Larry Johnson, Doug and Michelle Roberts and family, and Sonny Bunn and Family.
