Jesse James Hughes (September 8th, 1988 – April 29th, 2023)

Jesse James Hughes, age 34, of Samantha, died on April 29th, 2023, at his home.

Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at Haygood UMC Cemetery with Pastor Chris Martin officiating and Magnolia Chapel North directing.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jim and Estelle Collins and Jack and Sue Hughes; sister, Shellie Lyn Beard; and cousins, Noah Collins, Samantha Collins, and MJ Collins.

He is survived by his loving high school sweetheart wife, Jennifer; parents, Reggie and Sharon Hughes; sisters, Tina (Byron) Bonnet and Carolina (Mike) Hughes-Hummel; brothers-in-law, Russell Beard, Dusty (Amber) Watson, Josh (Amber) Watson, and Brian Watson; sister-in-law, Haley (Jesse) Watson; father-in-law, Darren (Lori) Watson; mother-in-law, Tammy (Dale) Beams; fur babies, Brownie and Little Girl; and numerous nieces and nephews

Jesse loved playing guitar and singing while hanging out with family and friends, hunting, and being a boat captain for Waterfront Solutions.

Pallbearers will be Cody, Cory, Brandon, and TR Collins, Seth Lindsey, Bobby Bonnet, Cole Johnson, Bud Martin

Honorary pallbearers are LJ and Ashlie, John and Stephanie Hagler, Donnie and Andrea Watson, Rhonda and Tony Carr, Shannon & Lara Burnett and employees of Waterfront Solutions and their families, Northside Baptist Church, Northport Walmart Marketplace, Samantha and Carroll's Creek Volunteer Fire Departments, the Northside Community, Kasey Lawrence, Sam "Uncle Bo" & Sandra Collins, Chris Ellis, Joseph Rosekrans, and Jimmy and Diedree Gooch.

Jesse was well known for his kind heart and loving spirit that will live on in all his family, friends, and everyone that came in contact with him.
