Jeanette B. Styres (January 14th, 1931 – June 5th, 2024)

Jeanette B. Styres, 93 of Tuscaloosa, passed away June 5, 2024 at DCH Regional Medical Center.

Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South is in charge of her final wishes.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Mary Hagler South and Cullen Samuel South, her husband; Jesse L. Styres, maternal grandparents; William P. and Marilda Ferguson Hagler, fraternal great grandparents; William B. and Malisa Braughton, maternal great grandparents; Rev. J.B. Ferguson and Rachel E. Alexander Ferguson.

Jeanette attended Alberta Elementary and Holt High School. She then went on to the University of Alabama receiving her BS degree in Human Environmental Sciences.

She was a designer for kitchen planning at a local cabinet shop. Later she owned and operated antique furnishing in Tuscaloosa and Birmingham.

In departing this life, goodbyes are not forever, goodbyes are not the end, they simply mean I'll miss you until we meet again!
