Back-to-School Giveaway Planned in Tuscaloosa

Tuscaloosa families can get a head start on the upcoming school year during a community Back-to-School Book Bag Giveaway scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 1.

Hosted by Hodges Luxury, the event will take place from noon until 5 p.m. at the Outdoor Sensory Event venue, located at 1421 39th Avenue East in Tuscaloosa.

The free community event will feature book bag giveaways, vendors, gift card giveaways, door prizes and a silent auction. Organizers are also accepting donations to help provide students with the tools they need for a successful school year.

The event is sponsored in partnership with the Play Without Limits Athletics Foundation and aims to bring families together while helping prepare local students for the classroom.

Community members who would like to support the giveaway can donate through Cash App at $hltluxury or Venmo at dhodges-3.
