Sokol Park Receives New LED Lighting Upgrades

Sokol Park will look a little different these days as they've just completed renovations to the park's lighting system.

The Tuscaloosa Park & Recreation Authority (PARA) requested funds from the Tuscaloosa County Commission for multiple projects including improvements at Bowers Park and Sokol Park.

Recently, the Sokol Park improvements were completed, giving light to Sokol Park South.

The improvements come just in time for PARA's Spring and Summer sports leagues.

• Dixie Youth Baseball
• Tuscaloosa Baseball League
• Druid City Baseball League 
• Youth and Adult Softball
• Youth Volleyball 

These are just a few of PARA's leagues that will benefit from the new LED lighting system at Sokol Park.
