Tuscaloosa Summer Enrichment Program Blends Learning & Fun

This summer, children ages 5 -12 can look forward to a fun, safe, and engaging experience through the upcoming Summer Enrichment Program, proudly presented by Re-Moore Learning & Tutoring, in partnership with Mind Changers.

According to the press release, “The program will be held at the McDonald Hughes Community Center, located at 3101 M.L. King Jr. Blvd, Tuscaloosa, AL, and will run from June 1 through July 24, operating daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.”

Blending academic growth, creativity, and physical activity, this comprehensive enrichment experience will focus on a positive, structured environment that nurtures youth development.

“We are excited to provide a space where children can continue learning, build meaningful relationships, and simply enjoy being kids over the summer,” said program organizers. “Our goal is to create an experience that balances education and fun while positively impacting our community.”

The program includes a variety of engaging activities such as arts and crafts, movie days, enrichment lessons, board games, and sports provided by PARA. Another added feature is the TPL Summer Reading Program, with a Book Mobile on-site.

“The program is open to children ages 5–12, with a $30 registration fee and a $100 weekly participation fee,” said the press release. Also, “parents and guardians are encouraged to register early, as space is limited.”
