Tuscaloosa County Deputies Investigating Murder in Holt, Suspect in Custody
Police in Tuscaloosa County are investigating a murder Tuesday morning after a woman was killed in Holt.
Captain Jack Kennedy, the commander of the Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit, said deputies are in the 1700 block of 47th Avenue Northeast responding to a murder.
Kennedy said a female has been found deceased but did not say more about her age or cause of death.
He said a suspect has been taken into custody at this time, and the investigation is ongoing.
This is the fourth homicide investigated in the county so far this year, by the count of Tuscaloosa Thread staff.
