1st Freeze Watch Information
This watch will be from Saturday, March 18 from 1:00 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. It will impact the following counties: Blount, Calhoun, Cherokee, Clay, Cleburne, Etowah, Marion, Randolph, St. Clair, Talladega, Walker, and Winston.
FREEZING TEMPERATURES AS LOW AS 31 POSSIBLE
2nd Freeze Watch Information
This watch will be from Sunday, March 19 from 1:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. It will impact the following counties: Autauga, Blount, Bibb, Calhoun, Chambers, Cherokee, Chilton, Clay, Cleburne, Coosa, Dallas, Elmore, Etowah, Fayette, Greene, Hale, Jefferson, Lamar, Lee, Marengo, Marion, Perry, Pickens, Randolph, Shelby, St. Clair, Sumter, Talladega, Tallapoosa, Tuscaloosa, Walker, and Winston.
SUB-FREEZING TEMPERATURES AS LOW AS 24 POSSIBLE

TAKE STEPS NOW TO PROTECT TENDER PLANTS FROM THE COLD.
TO PREVENTFREEZING AND POSSIBLE BURSTING OF OUTDOOR WATER PIPES. THEY SHOULDBE WRAPPED, DRAINED, OR ALLOWED TO DRIP SLOWLY.
THOSE THAT HAVE IN-GROUND SPRINKLER SYSTEMS SHOULD DRAIN THEM AND COVER ABOVE-GROUND PIPES TO PROTECT THEM FROM FREEZING.
