Good morning West Alabama. It is Tuesday June 25, 2024.

The college baseball season is over, and Tennessee is the national champion after winning the NCAA Baseball College World Series 6-5 over Texas A&M last night. The Vols took the last two games of the three game championship series to win their first baseball national championship ever.

No doubt, UT and A&M were the two best teams in the best baseball conference in the country. And once again the Southeastern Conference proved it is the best baseball collegiate conference in the land.

-----

There was also another champion crowned last night. The Florida Panther's did just enough to beat the Edmonton Oilers 2-1 and win their first Stanley Cup in the National Hoskey League.

It's pretty nice to get a hockey title south of the Mason-Dixon Line.
