The Alabama Crimson Tide is on the precipice of its second scrimmage of the spring season is spring football is well underway. The Tide is facing many changes on the upcoming season but cornerback Terrion Arnold believes the defense is starting to come together.

“We learned we can be a really great defense," said Arnold about last week's scrimmage. "Just have to put the little things together. We have a lot of guys with a lot of want-to or grit. Define the standard have your back and have a positive outcome for the defense. A great defense.”

Arnold and Kool-Aid McKinstry are slated to start for the Tide at cornerback, but the Florida-native has been working at star as well.

“Versatility is good and I think that creates value for myself and allows me to help my team if they need me to go in there and play it," said Arnold.

Alabama is replacing defenders like Will Anderson, Henry To'o To'o, Jordan Battle, Brian Branch and more, but the Tide recruited well and has expectations of returning to the nation's best defensive unit.

Arnold and the Tide are set for the second scrimmage of the spring season this coming Saturday. Fans will be invited to the third and final scrimmage of spring for A-Day on Saturday, April 22.
