Our practice viewing portion opened with quarterbacks and running backs building chemistry, working on handoffs. Redshirt junior quarterback Austin Mack led the way first in this drill for the quarterbacks, paired with returning running back Daniel Hill. Behind Mack was redshirt freshman Keelon Russell, who was paired with Kevin Riley. Jett Thomalla, a true freshman, was paired with redshirt freshman AK Dear, and the quarterbacks' line ended with Tayden-Evan Kaawa working alongside Appalachian State transfer Khalifa Keith. Austin Mack came back around to work with freshman Trae'Shawn Brown, who rounded out the running backs' line. Freshman five-star running back EJ Crowell did not participate in this drill. When they switched sides of the field, Mack and Russell switched spots, with Russell working with Hill and Mack working with Riley.

Junior wide receiver Ryan Coleman-Williams led the way for Alabama's receivers, working on the outside and catching passes from several different quarterbacks, as Alabama rotated through them throughout the media viewing period.

The "first team" at wide receiver appears to be Coleman-Williams, Rico Scott, and N.C. State transfer Noah Rogers. Those three led the way in every drill when quarterbacks were paired with the receivers. Behind them were Derek Meadows, Lotzeir Brooks, and freshman Cederian Morgan.

Lastly, for the offensive observations, Alabama's quarterbacks worked on corner routes to the tight ends, led by Oklahoma State transfer Josh Ford and sophomore Kaleb Edwards. Behind them were fellow sophomore Marshall Pritchett and freshman Mack Sutter; Sutter has been with the Tide since Rose Bowl practice in California.

We will hear from Alabama offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb and a handful of the Tide's offensive players at roughly 11:00 a.m.
